A realtor’s job looks so easy, you stick a sign in the yard the next day it’s sold. Piece of cake, right? I understand, when realtors are doing their job really well that’s exactly what it looks like.
Today I’m going to give you a few reasons why you really need a realtor, even in a seller’s market.
- We Drive a Ton More Traffic To Your People are using our company brokerage websites to find what they’re looking for, they call their trusted realtor and they get into the home within hours. When they turn to that trusted advisor and say “Hey what do you think?” that realtor is going to say, “Make an offer!” if the home is priced accurately. And that realtor is experienced enough to write a full price offer — quickly. By getting on one of those reputable company websites you’re going to drive a ton more traffic and a ton more competition to your home.
- Competing Offers. Also you need to know that in today’s short inventory world, you are probably going to attract competing offers if you’ve priced your home accurately. Don’t always go for the highest price offer. You have to look at financing type, inspection contingencies, close date, and the qualifications of the actual buyer. There is a lot to sift through, and it’s not automatically just the highest price. Your realtor will have the experience, knowledge, and know-how to help you decipher through that.
- Follow Through. Last but not least, the follow through! Here’s the deal, there’s a lot to navigate through with these inspections. There is a lot to navigate through and follow through on mortgage lenders to make sure that they are doing their job (not all mortgage lenders are created equal, by the way). Theres termite inspectors, title commitments, and more that goes on behind the scenes that relators handle every step of the way.
Here’s a quote to commit to:

As always, my prayer for you is that you don’t just dream about your life, but today you take the first step and then the next to make sure it happens.
