Today I want to talk about the importance of networking. I love networking, I get a lot of value from it and I think it’s a really important part of my job.
One of our core beliefs at Re/Max results is to value relationships and nurture them. We believe wonderful things happen when we do that!
Today I want to give a shout out to a really cool person who does value relationships and nurture them. He puts his money where his mouth is by being an incredible entrepreneur. He started a networking group called Centersphere, Mr. Brett Boyer. He did this so that others could be built up, make things happen, have their businesses not just survive but thrive.
I’m happy to say that I’ve opened a chapter, come check us out! Thursday 8:30-9:30 at our Re/Max Results office. Our chapter gets together with cool people like Kathy Roum of Habitat for Humanity , Heather Toth of Cruise Planners, Mathew Dvorak of Flat Rate Movers, Raichel Binns of Liberty Mutual and more! And we talk about what we can do to build each others businesses up, what ideas we can generate for each other, and how we can move forward and do good things in the community. If you’re not a part of a group like this, I hope you get involved. I hope it’s Centersphere, I have a passion for that group. If it’s not Centersphere, maybe it’s BNI or the Omaha Chamber, all are good things. If you’re already a part of a group like that, get involved in your community, do something nice for charity, be inspiring, build one another up.
Today’s quote to commit to is: Do something everyday that scares you. I know I say everyday, I do it at least on a weekly basis! I do, that’s how I move forward in life. I believe that you will go further, faster when you put this into practice.
